I have had some success on this site before. I am not sure what I am looking for. Its a little like describing a place I havent been before. I have an idea, but I am flexible. Geography (Manhattan) is somewhat important since I work- time and am in classes in the evenings. I like sciency types- that are a little rugged. Maybe a history lesson will help narrow the field. A few reasons my past dates didnt go all that well:
One guy, I in the Linen Closet, hid a second bedroom in his apartment (for months). It was a next door to bathroom. So I thought it was a linen closet. It turns out it was a bedroom for two girls. He would deflate a bouncy house ( that was in the living room) every time I would come over.

One guy, a investment banker, within 20 minutes of knowing me was holding my hands and telling me we had a deep connection. This may seem desperate. when he did it it was smooth. He was a clear player. I havent given him a name yet.
One guy had a minor melt down (like a toddler) because he couldnt get a taxi. I him Toddler.
Those are just some of the highlights. 😉 ople are always asking why I am single and why I dont have .turn into those people listed above. 😳. Frightening.
Bottom line is I would prefer honesty. I am honest about my intentions, I really dont do casual well. Some girls can handle that, I am not really capable. I find them shallow. I want potential for a long term relationship. Though Ill never want the white picket fence in suburbia. Maybe I want the settling down, without really settling down. I like adventure. Weekend trips, new sport, new personal growth pursuit. Etc.
I am quirky. I stay up late binge watching TWD or something similar. I am agnostic teetering on atheism. Socially very liberal. I have an SUV and am bummed I didnt think of towing skiers down Broadway during the snow storm. Next time! I live in Manhattan. .
I try to get away a few times a year to scuba dive. I enjoy skiing too. Really anything outdoors and physical. Kayaking and riding horses in the summer is also fun.
I love well most.Not a fan of snakes or rats. But the rest are cool.
I am a little tomboy and a little girly. I will rock a cocktail dress and red lipstick. I grew up chasing my neighbors cows on horseback. I am always bruised. I dont even know where they come from.
my father is southern and that side of the family instilled in me an appreciation for chivalry. He opens doors and send me flowers.
I am looking for a needle in a haystack. I dont really have a type. I prefer someone who works out and is active. I also prefer educated. Witty. Fun. Working or in college, either way you have goals.
